Zion Canyon
This dramatic canyon, featuring towering cliffs of vibrant red sandstone and green vegetation is 15 m (24 km) long and a half mile deep (800 m), making it the prominent feature of Zion National Park. A scenic park drive travels along the rim of the canyon while several hiking and canyoneering routes explore the canyon floor and its many technical side canyons.
